Central Valley Glass opened in 1980 with the goal of becoming the best full service glass shop in Yakima. The company's first location was in a single car garage on S. 9th Ave. The company than moved to their second location in the 1900 block of Fruitvale Blvd in 1982. The business continued to grow for the next eight years. In 1990 Central Valley Glass constructed their current building  located at 30 W. Mead Ave.

For 2 years in a row, Central Valley Glass has been voted "Best glass shop in Yakima", affirming our goal of providing outstanding service and products to our customers. Central Valley Glass has made many wonderful friends over the past 33 years. We look forward to making many more in the future.

Both owners, Les Riel and Ward Jackson were born and raised in the Yakima Valley. They graduated from Carroll High School in 1976 and both have been married for over 34 years. Les and his wife Wanda (Stickney) have raised two sons, Dustin and Tom. Ward and his wife Terri (Capistran) have raised two daughters, Stephanie and Laura. As of October 2013, Central Valley Glass has 11 employees and to us they feel more like family than employees.  Les and Ward love the Yakima Valley and are proud to call it home.
